Alabama Gold

Alabama is not known for its gold. Yet Alabama was part of one of the first US gold rushes in the 1830's. Gold is still available on some of the creeks, streams, and rivers of Alabama. There are several gold producing areas. I have visited some of them and written up some information that may be useful.
