Who Am I?

Who Am I?

James Mallonee

Well, I've spent 20 years in the US Air Force. I've been to several countries and done some interesting things. Some people would consider some of the things I have done to be pretty interesting. And I have to admit, that I have enjoyed a lot of it.

RAF Chicksands, United Kingdom. My oldest daughters were born there, Jayme and Gina.

San Vito Air Station, Italy. Spent some good times looking for rocks, caves, diving, and metal detecting

Presidio of Monterey, California. My youngest daughter was born there. Many good friends still live there.

Misawa Air Base, Japan. Very cold, but lots of fun to hunt snow monkeys and glass fishing floats on the beach.

Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Didn't think I'd like it that well, stayed for 8 years. Bought a house. Would have stayed longer except jobs were better in other areas.

Northern Virginia. Hmmm... Cold in the winter like Misawa - hot in the summer like Alabama. Too many people and no one has time for anyone else. The job is good, but the drive sucks - no matter where you live. I'll be here until I can find something somewhere I want to go.
