Curvin's Cow Pasture

Curvin's Cow Pens or Curvin's Cow Pasture is located in one of the famous Alabama gold fields—Chulafinnee Creek.

For a couple years it was leased by the Alabama chapter of the Gold Prospectors of America. However, it no longer is held by that lease. The owner has turned the site into a "commercial" gold mine.

I do not have a current price guide however I believe that it is relatively reasonable. At least for gold panning if not for dredging. Equipment is available on location.

For those of you with a good GPS system, I have the following info for you... -85.6333 and 33.55 decimal or 33-33-00N by 085-38-00W. That is the "official" location of the Chulafinnee Placer Mines
